Courses from February 2017:
In September 2016 High Trees once again ran our innovative Level 2 Award in Involvement in Housing and Communities course (accredited by the Chartered Institute of Housing) for Lambeth Housing tenants.
This course is designed for those seeking careers in housing or community development and past learner’s have a strong record of moving into volunteering or work placements and employment in housing related jobs. The course is currently running (due to end on 31st January 2017) but to express an interest in attending the course in future, for more information about the course and to find out if it might suit you, please call us on 0208 671 3132, email email@example.com or pop in and see us!
Courses funded by Lambeth Housing are free for Lambeth Housing tenants if you are a UK/EU resident, registered unemployed and in receipt JSA, ESA (work related activity group) or Universal Credit (mandated to undertake skills training). If you are claiming other benefits or have a total household income over £20k you may have to pay a fee, but that depends on the course and your individual circumstances (for example, for many people on income support who are looking to get back into work, the courses are also free). If you are a Lambeth tenant but are not sure if you fit the criteria, please give us a call and we can let you know.
