Our ‘Evolve’ Employment, Volunteer and Outreach project offers Lambeth residents a service that provides information, advice and guidance (IAG) to support people back into work. This range of support includes updating CVs, job applications, training, brokering volunteering opportunities, arranging work placements and individual coaching.
Our exciting Step Up Programme, which is being delivered alongside Walcot Foundation and Trust for London, aims to support people who are in work but on low incomes to secure better jobs, progress within their current job role, change careers and improve their lives. Employees on zero hours contracts or pay which is lower than the London Living Wage are often overlooked when it comes to employment or skills training, however our innovative Step Up programme provides targeted support to help individuals secure better paid, more secure employment allowing them greater financial stability and to plan for the future ahead.
We also work closely with Lambeth Children’s Centre staff and parents, arranging individual 1-1 IAG sessions for those attending our programme of Community Adult courses for parents or carers of children under 5.
