Tulse Hill Adventure Playground, Greenleaf close, London, SW2 2EY

A modern, bright and vibrate building with 2 accessible areas.

The first hall is large and spacious and is suitable for a formal, or seated occasion, reception or buffet.  This room has the capacity for up to 100 people.

The smaller adjacent room with wooden flooring is brightly lit and looks onto the side of the adventure playground.  This room has the capacity for up to 30 to 40 people.

Tulse Hill Adventure Playground is used for community educational courses and by community groups alongside sports sessions, dance and drama clubs, children’s parties, christenings, receptions and religious groups.

The cost of hire starts at £45 per hour for private hire and £35 for registered charities, with even lower rates for the local community.

Please note that rates are different for use of the play equipment itself, as this would need supervision by a qualified worker.

Features of the Adventure Playground include:

  • Kitchen for prepping and storing food, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle
  • Projector, flip charts with markers
  • Wheelchair access
  • Accessible toilets, one with assistance alarm
  • Outside area (not including adventure playground itself)

Getting there

Situated between Tulse Hill and Meodora Road to the rear of Tulse Hill Estate, Tulse Hill Adventure Playground is easily accessible either by car or by public transport (10 minutes on buses 2, 415 or 432 from Brixton tube or a short walk from Tulse Hill train station).

It is easily accessible from Tulse Hill and Brixton Hill as well as from nearby local areas such as Streatham or West Norwood.

 

High Trees Learning Centre, 220 Upper Tulse Hill, London, SW2 2NS

 The High Trees Learning Centre has a learning room suitable for courses, classes, community meetings or small conferences as well as keep fit clubs or tutor sessions.  The room can be laid out in various formations – as a horse shoe, with forward facing desks, in small groups, with chairs only or with the tables and chairs removed  This has a capacity up to 45 without desks or 30 with desks.

There is an IT suite with 15 computers linked to a Tutor PC, all of which are networked to a printer.

There is also a small IT suite with 3 computers.

The cost of hire varies according to the room booked, with lower rates for registered charities and those in the local community.

Situated at the junction of Tulse Hill, Upper Tulse Hill and Trinity Rise, High Trees Learning Centre is easily accessible either by car or by public transport (15 minutes on buses 2, 415 or 432 from Brixton tube, the 201 from Streatham or a short walk from Tulse Hill train station).

It is very easily accessible from nearby local areas such as Streatham or West Norwood.

 

St Martin’s Scout Hut, 18 – 28 High Trees, London, SW2 3PX

 This superb hall is a lovely cosy space that has the capacity of up to 40 people.

The Scout Hut is used for community educational courses and by community groups, community meetings, social clubs, stay and play groups, children’s parties, christening, receptions and religious groups art workshops and a pop up library.

The cost of hire is £60 per hour for private hire with lower rates for charities or people who live in the local community.

  • Accessible toilets
