This week, teams from PPHE Hotel Group and Useful Simple Trust joined us at Tulse Hill Adventure Playground for a corporate volunteer day dedicated to improving and transforming this much-loved community space.
Adventure playgrounds play a vital role in supporting children’s wellbeing, creativity and development, yet many continue to face significant funding pressures. Through volunteer support and community partnerships, we are working to ensure that local children have access to safe and inspiring places to play.
Volunteers spent the day painting the games room, sheds, gates and main building, clearing overgrown pathways to create additional play space and organising storage areas to improve the overall environment.
Days like these demonstrate the power of partnership and collective action. They not only help us improve our spaces but also provide organisations with a valuable opportunity to connect with local communities and better understand the experiences of children, young people and families who use our services.
