On this Level 1 accredited course is an introduction to working or volunteering with animals, alongside developing study skills. This course is designed for those interested in animal care, as well as those who are building their confidence into work.

The course will run on Thursdays and Fridays from 10am to 3pm from 30th April to 3rd July.

This is a classroom based course but with practical opportunities for learning, including visits to city farms and other animal environments. On this course you will take care of both small animals and horses.

By the end of this course, you will:

Strengthen your study skills
Understand health and safety practices for working with animals
Know the key welfare needs of animals
Feel more confident taking care of animals
