This course is an introduction to working or volunteering with animals, alongside developing study skills.

Units include: the care of animals (2 credits), developing confidence working with animals (3 credits), feedstuffs for small animals (2 units) and study skills (3 units).

The course has been designed to provide learners with the skills and knowledge to progress to further study related to animal care in a workplace setting, such as an animal sanctuary, city farm or pet shop.
