A day in the life of a Learner Support Officer
A typical day as Learner Support Officer may include meeting one to one with learners who have been identified as needing support to work with them on how they can succeed in their course and creating a learner support plan, monitoring attendance at that week’s courses and calling any learners who are at risk of falling behind to find out if learner support can assist them, making a referral to our local foodbank where a need has been identified and working with colleagues on an event to celebrate learner achievement at the end of the term.
