Building Young Brixton (BYB) www.buildingyoungbrixton.com is a partnership of Lambeth-based youth and community organisations working collaboratively to improve outcomes for children and young people in Brixton. Established in 2017, initially in response to a commissioning opportunity, the partnership has evolved into a sustained model of local collaboration rooted in shared values and long-term relationships.
As we approach ten years of partnership working, we are seeking to commission a 10 Year Impact Review that reflects on the partnership’s overall contribution and captures its cumulative impact.
We want to use the Review as an opportunity to celebrate ten years of collaboration, reflect on what has been achieved, understand the difference the partnership has made at multiple levels, and produce a compelling document that can support future funding and strategic conversations. The final report will be published on our website and shared with funders, partners and the wider sector.
Consultant Specification
We are seeking a consultant with experience in impact evaluation within the voluntary and community sector, and a strong understanding of partnership and place-based working. The ability to translate qualitative and quantitative evidence into a compelling narrative for public and funder audiences is essential.
We are looking for someone who can approach the partnership with rigour and sensitivity, and who can hold complexity while producing a clear and persuasive account.
Experience in youth services or London-based community partnerships would be advantageous. Design capability is desirable but not essential.
