Job description

High Trees are seeking enthusiastic Sessional Play Workers to deliver adventure play sessions at Tulse Hill Adventure Playground. This will be a self-employed position as hours will not be guaranteed each week. The hourly rate of pay will be from £15 to £20 per hour, dependent on experience. This will be agreed with you before your first shift.

Our play sessions take place during term time, Monday to Thursday from 3.30 to 7pm, there may also be the opportunity to run some Saturday sessions. We also run holiday programmes at the playground, when sessions run from 9am to 4pm daily (excluding Bank Holidays). The focus of the sessions is on free play, alongside a range of staff-led activities, including team sports and games, arts and crafts, cooking, outdoor nature activities, and themed holiday events.

In this role, you will be working alongside our dedicated Youth and Play team to provide an exciting and engaging play environment for the local children and young people who attend our services.

Shifts will be available throughout the year and will be agreed with you at least two weeks in advance.
