Community Baby Shower at Tulse Hill Adventure Playground

Twenty-two local families and expectant parents enjoyed Tulse Hill’s first Community Baby Shower held at the Adventure Playground on November 25th.

Parents and children enjoyed lots of activities including massage, crafts, music, soft play and facepainting, and took home professional family portraits, preloved clothes and toys and free books.

Partner organisations offered information about activities for expectant parents and young families in the area as well as support and guidance on parenting choices such as breastfeeding.

The event was organised in partnership with Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP) and run with the help of local parents, Jubilee and Treehouse Children’s Centres, LEAP Parent Champions, Lambeth Libraries, Bookstart, The Breastfeeding Network, Get Rid of and Donate and Parents Organising Play.

If you are expecting a baby or have a child aged under 4 and would like to get involved, please email Martha on or call 0208 671 3132 to find out more.
