Community Event – Saturday 28th October

High Trees have been working alongside and supporting the St Martins TRA to deliver a community event on the 28th of October.

This free event will celebrate the rich and diverse culture we have within Tulse Hill and offer an opportunity to get more involved in civic life, learn about your local Tenants and Residents Association and how you could have a greater say over how their area is run.

Kinetika bloco will be opening the event with a parade around St Martins estate raising awareness that the event is taking place.

The Mayor of Lambeth, Marcia Cameron, will open the event, followed by our very own Margaret Pierre explaining the value of joining groups like the St Martins TRA.

The event will have tasty food, health MOTs, fuel poverty advice, a raffle, face painting, a graffiti workshop for teens, zoo lab, a bouncy castle, popcorn and candy floss, information from all the housing associations on the estate, a creche run by happy days nursery, dance and music performances, a Black History presentation and much more.  There will be something for everyone!
