Purpose
- To support the Community Action team in the community consultation for a potential solution to internet access for the digitally excluded
Main Responsibilities
- Speak to the residents of Tulse Hill estate by going door-to-door to ask about their status regarding digital inclusion
- To fill out the consultation questionnaire for each conversation and assist in aggregating data for monitoring and evaluation
- To follow relevant High Trees policies and procedures as outlined in the volunteer handbook and volunteer induction
- To inform the Community Action team of any issues brought up in conversation with residents
Commitment
- Attend a two-hour induction and complete the required paperwork and DBS check
- Attend at least one of the six full days from 10am to 2pm
Skills Required
- Reliable and punctual in attending the sessions
- Good social and communication skills
- Ability to interact positively with people of a range of different backgrounds
