We’re proud to share that Lambeth Hubs has officially been named as the capacity-building strand of Lambeth Council’s new infrastructure support offer for local voluntary and community sector organisations.
Lambeth Hubs is a partnership of five community anchor charities: High Trees, Stockwell Partnership, Longfield Hall, Slade Gardens Adventure Playground and We Are 333. Together we aim to help strengthen the resilience and long-term sustainability of Lambeth’s voluntary and community sector.
The support provided is tailored to the individual needs of each organisation and delivered free of charge through one-to-one capacity building, training and expert advice. Depending on their requirements, organisations can access support from one or more of the Lambeth Hubs partners.
Organisations that have already accessed support through Lambeth Hubs have shared positive feedback about their experiences.
One organisation said:
“Being a volunteer-led organisation we have struggled with organisational development. Lambeth Hubs have been able to fill gaps in our capacity. Working with them has given us six months of progress in a matter of weeks!”
Another added:
“The Lambeth Hubs Mentoring programme came at the right time for us. It has been delivered at a manageable pace and been specific to our needs. Helping to take away the overwhelm of these tasks that needed doing, having the in-person visits has been key.”
