We are pleased to announce that over 50 Lambeth residents have already benefited from this 12-week programme during which they can access personalised advice and coaching.
This month, High Trees’ Head of Children, Young People and Families kicked off the year with a Share and Learn session focusing on strategies for supporting young people with Autism, Learning Disabilities and ADHD.
27 of our ESOL learners recently celebrated the end of term by participating in our Winter Wellbeing event, one of a number of sessions we are delivering with support from the Lambeth Health Inequality Community Fund.
We recently wrapped up the last of our Mindful Mandala Mosaic sessions. The 6-week course helped participants to get creative, working with different colours and patterns and learning a variety of mosaic techniques.
High Trees are delighted to announce a new coaching partnership with Jubilee Primary School. Through our YOUth Coach programme, delivered in partnership with local schools, High Trees work with young people to build their self-esteem and emotional resilience.
The Lambeth Peer Action Collective (LPAC) won the Youth Endowment Fund’s Group Award for greatest insights. It was also selected by the Market Research Society for their 2023 cadre of Research Heroes.
Led by High Trees and set up in 2016, Building Young Brixton is a consortium of ten Lambeth-based youth service providers focused on creating opportunities for young people to thrive.
High Trees have helped residents organise on common issues and have supported the formation of a new resident led community group ‘Tulse Hill Estate Unites’.
